Models

I love modelling because, as well as being a satisfying pastime, it gives me a deeper understanding of the structure I’m trying to create, encouraging me to analyse and evaluate sections in detail.

I’ve learnt a lot about buildings, shapes, structures and materials over the years I’ve spent modelling in my free time. My primary material is card, as it’s so readily available at home and very versatile, but I’ve experimented in the past with wire, balsa wood, styrofoam, acetate sheets and more when these materials proved suitable.
